Creative Opportunities


Covenant holds several events throughout the year that provide an opportunity for the students to demonstrate their God-given abilities in the area of the creative arts.

Musical Soiree – the more accomplished musicians amongst the student body perform before an invited audience one evening in Term 1, with catering undertaken by students from the Years 9/10 Food Technology classes.

Music & Drama Festival – a joint effort by students from both the Years 9/10 Drama and Music elective classes who put on an evening of entertainment (during Term 2) for parents and families at a hired venue.

TAG Quest – at the end of Term 2 the final the Talents – Abilities – Gifts (TAG) Quest is held. Individuals, but mostly groups of students, undertake a performance in some creative art such as drama, singing, music with prizes being awarded to the top placed groups in the Primary as well as the Secondary level.

Evening of the Arts – towards the end of Term 3 students across the school, often in class groups, undertake a number of performances before the parent body and wider family members at a hired venue. Art Show – early in Term 4 the art works of a number of gifted students is put up on display for other students, parent and wider family members to view.

Thanksgiving Evening – several class groups of students undertake performances at the school’s annual Thanksgiving and Awards Evening which is held at a hired venue on the last day of the school year.
