Positions Available
Deputy Principal – starting January 2027
Covenant Christian School is seeking an exceptional Deputy Principal to provide strategic and operational leadership across the school. Working closely with the Principal, the Deputy Principal will oversee the day-to-day operations of the school.
As a key leader within our school community, the Deputy Principal plays a vital role in upholding the school’s educational vision, fostering a positive and collaborative staff culture, supporting the wellbeing and professional growth of staff, and ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, and school operations. The successful applicant will be a visible and approachable leader who is committed to serving students, families, and colleagues with wisdom, humility, and integrity.
Applicants must be suitably qualified and accredited to teach with the Australian Capital Territory Teacher Quality Institute (TQI). To align with the school’s Christian beliefs, applicants must be committed Christians of reformed evangelical or similar persuasion who are members of, and actively involved in, a local Protestant Christian church. All applications will be considered on their merit and teachers are encouraged to apply regardless of their level of experience. It is a requirement that all applicants hold a current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.

Accounts Payable Officer
The Accounts Payable Officer position is a part-time, administrative one where the successful candidate is responsible for managing the School’s outgoing cash flow. They process vendor invoices, verify expense reports, reconcile supplier statements, and execute timely payments. ELC Director (Full-time or part-time negotiable) for 2027
Due to a key staff member retiring at the end of the year, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Preschool leader to take over as ELC Director for our Christ-centred Preschool (4-year-olds) starting in 2027. The role requires a person who closely aligns with the School’s Christian ethos and who is keen to work in an environment where Jesus Christ is openly acknowledged and celebrated as Lord of all.

Secondary Mathematics teacher – full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE) for 2027 onwards
Due to a key staff member retiring at the end of the year, and expansion of secondary classes, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Secondary (Y7-10) mathematics teacher for our Christ-centred and classically oriented secondary school starting in 2027. The role requires a person who closely aligns with the School’s Christian ethos and who is keen to work in an environment where Jesus Christ is openly acknowledged and celebrated as Lord of all.
